Group 1:

Thoughts about the challenge:

  • It’s abstract with wide frames and we find that relevant for the thoughts about our challenge

How we understand the challenge:

  • Use 17 goals as guidelines
  • Present and motivate the idea
  • Aware of the price of the product
  • Need to have background information as research and  other evidence
  • Having a clear target group
  • Map the already existing ideas which are similar to our idea

The draft of the idea:

  • The idea is that we want to implement all the seventeen goals and want to take children’s rights perspective and use children as the primary target group
  • The product should implement parts that include qualitative education for children
  • Some of the things we found most relevant is making an app but we have been supervised to also look into other directions

Group 1 Pitch:

1. What’s your idea about and what need(s)/problem(s) will it solve?
The idea is to develop a game on an app that suits children in ages 3-7 and include 8 UN goals:

3. Welfare and Health
16. Peace and justice
13. Climate action
6. Clean water and sanitation
2. No Hunger
5. Gender equality
1. No powerty
10. Reduced Inequalities

You make children aware of the SDG:s and be more responsible about them in the future and hopefully take them to count when they grow up and start to work and be active citizens. To be aware of their own rights (micro) save the communities (meso) and the world (macro).

Examples:

13. Climate Action:
Game: lunch box thing as a game on an app) related to a reality situation
Law in September 2018 about that children should learn about the “science background” about that they do.

Targets:
Improve education, awareness-raising and human and institutional capacity on climate change mitigation, adaption impact reduction and early warning.

10. Reduced Inequalities: (Ex. The game can be built from the idea of the Danida).
Game: Kids with different colours and cultural background, learn how to share and use relevant stuff. (Able to pick some options and different things will happen. The options are pictures so they not have to read )….
Children’s rights?

Targets:
Empower ad promote the social, economic and political inclusion of all, irrespective of age, sex, disability, race, ethnicity, origion, religion or economic or other status

2. To whom can the idea be useful for? Who will benefit from it?
Our main target group are children in ages 3-7 in Kindergarten. But it’s also meant to help the world to be a better place in the future.

Why? The children learn in a “sensitive” age about things that will help them to see the 17 goals as an implemented part of themselves that will affect the community and in the last end the world.

3. Where will your idea/solution be useful?
In kindergartens and can also grow to be an app to use worldwide and a good thing is that it mainly consists of pictures and animations.

4. How will your idea solve the challenge?
Give more attention to the SDG:s already in the Kindergarten. Learn children to take responsibility for the individual way to act and make good decisions for themselves, the community and for the world (later).
