Bygrønt Horsens - Sustainable Retail

The challenge is about designing a circular economic model for a shopping center.

With this challenge we would like to tie two words together; sustainability and retail.

If we can begin to design a sustainable behavior among the broad consumer, we have reached a milestone in the Danish green transition. In this challenge, we want to show that there can easily be shopping in front of sustainability.

The concept is recreating the shopping center to be more futuristic, innovative and green by engaging the youth and build sustainable awareness.
In the public files there are pictures of the concept and 2 pager with the description of the project.
Group 3 With the concept "Green for the Eye, Green for the Mind" we propose a concept that can transform the current rather bothersom experience of using the restroom at ByTorv Horsens into a green experience in both function and demeanor.
We would like ByTorvHorsens, to be the go-to for the entire city. With room for everyone, and a space to hangout and learn, socially and environmentally.  Through gamification, and a sense of community, Bytorv Horsens is going to make the right solutions, for at better Horsens for everybody, now and in the future.
Group 11. Our mission is to improve the overall sustainability of Bytorv Horsens and to change the way people perceive usage and waste. This will be done by combining creativity and sustainability to create a memorable message that will continue to encourage sustainable behaviour.
In the 'PRIVAT FILES' you can find our 2 pager.
What’s the name of your project? The name of our project is Det Grønne Kollektive. We use the Danish name since it’s for the Danish market. However, it can be easily translated to English, which is “The green Collective”. The word describes the group of people acting together to achieve common objective, in this specific case it describes a human species as whole, a green community which wants to support sustainable development of the business and economy.   Give a brief introduction of your concept
The goal of the project is to improve the recycling infrastructure inside the mall, get rid of single use products in restaurants, establish learning spaces for kids and young people, and utilize empty renting places to promoting innovative and sustainable products or service through outlets or pop-up stores.
Our goal is to attract more people to Bytorv. Create a place which would be inspiring, people could meet here, enjoy time and be involved in a sustainable lifestyle. Nudging, convenience and the circular economy would be in the main focus.
Our goal is to change the way people view shopping centers by using gamification. This way Bytorv Horsens can have a more fun and interesting approach towards customer interaction.
